RFP:

Greater Orlando Aviation Authority

Sealed Proposals for PS-548, Pension Attorney Services will be received by the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority until 1:00 p.m. on January 8, 2018, and publicly opened and read at that time. Request for Proposal packages will be available November 13, 2017 and may be obtained by calling AirportLink at (866) 889-8533 or by visiting the Authority Purchasing Department's website at: www.orlandoairports.net/purchasing. The proposed Agreement will be to provide professional legal services and advice related to pension matters for the Authority’s Defined Benefits Retirement Plan (DB), Defined Contribution Retirement Plan (DC), Deferred Compensation Plan (457 Plan), and Other Post-Employment Benefits (OPEB Trust), (hereinafter called “the Plans”) and administration thereof, including but not limited to: 1) review and/or preparation of documents and agreements relating to Retirement Benefits Committee (“RBC”) responsibilities; 2) performance of legal due diligence with respect to all matters relating to responsibilities of the RBC; 3) education of RBC regarding compliance, fiduciary responsibility, administration of the Plans and new or upcoming legislation and related impacts; 4) dispute resolution and litigation support; 5) “Principal Attorney’s” (refers to the individual responsible for performance of Proposer’s Contract obligations) attendance (or authorized designee) at RBC meetings as requested; 6) provision of other related pension legal consultation as may be required; and 7) provision of status reports to the Executive Director as may be requested. A Non-Mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. on December 11, 2017. The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities or reject any and all Proposals.
