Hollywood, Florida Employees’ Retirement Fund

Executive Director

 

The City of Hollywood, Florida Employees’ Retirement Fund, is seeking an Executive Director (ED).  The City of Hollywood is located in Broward County, Florida.  The Fund is a public employee retirement plan, with over 600 participating members and 800 Retirees. The Executive Director is appointed by and reports to the Board of Trustees and has responsibility for general administration of the Fund. Qualifications: a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in finance, accounting, public administration or closely-related field; six years of work experience in pension, benefits administration, retirement system administration, or experience in administrative work or fiscal management; or equivalent education, training, and experience which would provide the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities. Florida Public Pension Trustees Association (FPPTA)(or similar) Certification required. Compensation consists of a salary and benefit package commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Hollywood, Florida Employees’ Retirement Fund

Assistant Administrator

 

The City of Hollywood, Florida Employees’ Retirement Fund, is seeking an Assistant Administrator.  The City of Hollywood is located in Broward County, Florida.  The Fund is a public employee retirement plan, with over 600 participating members and 800 Retirees. The Assistant Administrator reports to the Executive Director and the Board of Trustees and has responsibility for assisting as needed with the general administration of the Fund. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration or closely-related field. Six years of progressively responsible work experience in pension, benefits administration, retirement system administration, or experience in administrative work or fiscal management; or equivalent in education, training, and experience which would provide the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed/exam eligible preferred or CPPT or CAPPP eligible.  Previous experience in a Municipal Government a plus. FPPTA or similar certification required.  Compensation consists of a salary and benefit package commensurate with experience and qualifications.
